"Bringing your authentic self"
It's been truly captivating to hear influential individuals from around the world discuss the importance of bringing their authentic selves to their roles, including their expertise, life experiences, motherhood, family, faith, wellbeing (health, happiness, and relationships), belonging, and contributing.
My journey, both professionally and personally, has been quite unconventional. I've faced my fair share of ostracism, abandonment, and isolation. I've been criticised, condemned, and misunderstood. People have questioned why I wanted to become a Police Officer, return to the farm, or become a foster carer for someone else's children. The list goes on.
