The Probus Club of Murray Bridge is a male-orientated social club for retired or partially retired people. It provides monthly meetings with stimulating, entertaining guest speakers and a large range of social activities for retired and semi-retired people over fifty-five, who reside within or near the limits of the Rual City of Murray Bridge, South Australia

About Probus

The club’s basic purpose is to provide regular gatherings of people, who in their retirement, appreciate and value opportunities to meet others in similar circumstances with similar levels of interest.

If you are a retired or semi-retired man and you are attracted by intellectual and cultural activity, you may like to join us to enjoy friendship, fellowship and fun.

Burra – Clare Tour

21st to 25th October 2024. Tourers departed Club Marion on a Sealink coach driven by “Coach Captain” Chris Branson. The first stop being Roseworthy, a tour of Martindale Hall, then on to a typical country pub at Farrell Flat. We were treated us to a delicious BBQ & salad lunch.

Adelaide Clipper Ship

3rd October 2024 - 24 Members, wives & partners visited the Adelaide Clipper at Dock 2 and had a guided tour. After the visit, they adjourned to the nearby Birkenhead Tavern for lunch. A very memorable day was had by all.

Metropolitan Fire Station

25th July 2024 - We were split into 2 groups and guided by 2 fire officers who showed us the general workings of the station and the functioning of some of the Fire Engines. There are different engines sent to different fires depending on the type of fire and the location.
